The Glass House, New York

Some weddings just feel like movies from the very first frame – Grant & Courtney’s day in New York was exactly that. They chose The Glass House NYC for their celebration, with the Manhattan skyline as their backdrop and the city that means so much to them playing a leading role in their story.

The morning started in true New York style, split between two iconic hotels. Courtney got ready at the Lotte New York Palace, with views over the city, her bridal prep full of laughter, excitement and those quiet, emotional moments with her closest people. A few blocks away, Grant was at The St. Regis, straightening his tie, reading a note from Courtney and soaking in the calm before the whirlwind. We moved between them, weaving both stories together so the final film feels like they’re side by side, even before they see each other.

Before heading to The Glass House, we took them on a little adventure around the city – a mini tour of all the places that mean something to them. From the energy and lights of Times Square to the classic romance of Grand Central Station, we created those big “memorial” hero shots they’d dreamed of: walking hand-in-hand through busy streets, yellow cabs rushing past, the two of them completely in their own world. We also revisited the place where they got engaged, giving them a chance to relive that moment together, two years on, with a bit less nerves and a lot more happy tears.

At The Glass House, everything came together. Floor-to-ceiling windows, the skyline glowing as the sun went down, heartfelt vows, emotional speeches and a packed dance floor as the city lights flickered in the background. It felt less like a single day and more like a love letter to their story.
