Abi & Dan’s wedding at Grantley Hall was the definition of a showstopper. Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, this luxury country house hotel gave us a dream backdrop to film in – from the sweeping driveway and grand entrance to the hidden Japanese Gardens and stylish bars.

Their day had been postponed due to Covid-19, so when it finally arrived the emotion was dialled up even higher. We started the morning capturing bridal and groom prep in the elegant suites, focusing on the little details, nerves and laughter that set the tone for the day.

Outside, the scene was pure cinematic: Rolls Royces lined up on the drive, a helicopter arrival, and guests soaking in the views across the grounds. We used a mix of natural, candid moments and more composed shots to showcase both the romance of the venue and the energy of the celebrations.

As the sun went down, Grantley Hall transformed again – golden hour in the Japanese Gardens, heartfelt speeches, then a full-on party in the underground nightclub EightyEight, where the dance floor stayed full until midnight.

Abi & Dan’s film blends all of this together: luxury setting, big moments, and genuine emotion. If you’re looking for a wedding that feels both timeless and modern, Grantley Hall is hard to beat.
